Impromptu photoshoot for some of the crew on our last cruising day before this mini segment ends in Singapore and some folks leave.
I don’t generally like shooting photos for people, as I’m not spending a ton of time editing photos while on the ship, and I prefer nature and animals, but I had met Trixy and Jan while picking up my passport a while back, and had told them I could take some photos for them sometime.
Turns out that Jan is leaving the ship in Singapore and they were celebrating their anniversary, so we did an impromptu photoshoot for them.
Just a few of the photos from the shoot. Fun couple (who met on a ship many years ago!). So grateful for all the crew who keep us safe and entertained for so many months.
Other than the shoot, mostly was continuing to try to catch up on sleep and photos from the last couple weeks.
For dinner, we got some chicken 65 and some royal cheesecake with special guest appearance from Nate (lol)….look at that wonderful jacket from Tokyo Disney.
Mostly a really chill day sandwiched in between Vietnam and Singapore. Said goodbye to a lot of staff, which was pretty emotional. Unfortunately (or fortunately for us?) a bunch of the crew were told they were going home, and we were saying good bye to Shangam when we found out they changed it last minute after he had already packed and they asked him to stay till Dubai (along with a ton of the crew as well). We’ll get our goodbye’s in later!
We did say goodbye to Sunita who’s leaving in Singapore and Nate played her a song on his uke, but I couldn’t sit there and watch. I have too much second hand embarrassment from people looking over at our section (the introvert in me wanted to go hide in the corner).
