UWC Day 132 – Cruising Day – One More Day of Rest

Last day of rest as we finish recovering from the awesome trip to Japan.

Refreshing Photos

Finally got around to refreshing some of the photos from the last couple weeks, especially with all the cherry blossoms from all over. Had enough magnets to start putting more on the adjacent wall as well.

Tender Tickets!

Squatted while doing some editing, and ended up getting an early tender since I was solo, they had one extra ticket for tender boat 1! Another perk of being a solo traveler, when all the people in front of you are picking up multiple tender tickets, you get the singleton tickets to fill out the group!

Cruising

After my successful tender ticket queuing, headed back to the back of windjammer to enjoy some peaceful cruising again as we just moseyed our way along. Nate and mom came and ate some food while I just finished up some editing.

Attacked…By a Chair

I had relocated to the pub to do a little bit of editing next to an outlet, when I was moving one of the pub chairs and it attacked me, destroying my toe in the process. Had to retreat back to my cabin to clean up…Chair 1 – Matti 0…it won this round.

Formal Night

Got to dinner and while Mom and Nate split my lobster, I ordered a grilled cheese from the kids menu and some lamb chops, grilled veggies and basically one of each of the desserts. Good times.

Running Update!

Even with my fight with my chair, felt like I should get back to running, so headed up there to get a run in. Beautiful night for a run, and I took it a little easy with my toe, so I wouldn’t bleed all over my shoe. Good to be back on the ship with a little bit of time to get a run in.
