Long day through the the middle of Tahiti chasing waterfalls and all the sights. Finished the day on a sunset cruise after splitting up from Mom and Nate. Nice relaxing cruise out for views of the sunset.

Island Tour
Woke up to some unfortunate news that our guide had hurt his knee sparring in some Thai Boxing the night before, so we had a new tour guide that would meet us. We walked out of the port to the pickup location and waited for the tour to start.
Our new guide was fantastic, he knew all the other guides and had trained a lot of them so it was fun to see him interacting with everyone along the way.
Our truck was pretty small, so no room in the back, so we go to sit inside the cab in relative comfort and got all the island tunes and vibes as well as he sang along to the Tahitian music.
Awesome views all around as we went through and around the island.
Views
Waterfalls
So many waterfalls. My favorite, and also just lovely to sit in the valley just taking in all the spectacular falls.
River Swimming
We got to take a break in the middle of the day at a local watering hole and went for a swim in the river. It was so nice and refreshing. Just laid in the river and enjoyed the coolness in the hot and humid valley.
Flora
Abundance of flowers and colors everywhere as well. Nice to take a look at the small things while wandering around (mostly while everyone was listening to tour info).

We also saw a cute dog while getting food ready.

AND….Humans are still the worst.
Sunset Cruise
After getting back to port, we split up and Nate and Mom went back to do their own thing.
I wandered around the city for a bit and saw a cute cat before heading onto the ship real quick to do a pitstop.
I got back off to go to the sunset cruise that apparently I booked awhile ago.
We set out, and immediately found a bunch of people out there doing all sorts of water activities. I also found Dory!!
Tons of birds out there as well.
Beautiful view as the sun set over Mo’orea.
As we got back to port, we were treated by a mirror of water with the Serenade lit up in a lovely way.
Food
After a quick shower, wandered down and met up with Nate and Mom for dinner. Polynesian meatballs and pasta…super delicious.
After dinner, we watched some shows before they went to sleep. I ended up starting to book some excursions for Africa (assuming Option 1 will win), but can always cancel any excusions!
Will be announced tomorrow which option wins and what our new itinerary will be!
