Tender port, so we just went out and wandered around the city. Almost got a car to drive up the Kohala coast, but ended up just chilling since we had to be back for last tender.

View from Ship
Headed out to take a look at the view, and saw a big Maui Strong parasail right off the side of the ship. Awesome.
Also, fascinating, but we’re flying the Hawaiian flag, not the USA flag as the courtesy flag (arguably, more correct to do that anyway — having learned a bunch of Hawaiian history on my last trip here).
Around Town
We walked around town, just chilling and walking through some shops. I was looking for the local running store to get some sunglasses, since I left my sunglasses in Maui in the camper van (oops). Lovely birds all around, and awesome flowers as well.

Food
Got a mango dole whip, and a pineapple one for my mom. They didn’t have the watermelon or I’d have gotten that. As we walked, we saw a sign for the 8th best burger in the USA (according to yelp), and stopped to get some food. I got a burger, Nate and Mom split a Loco Moco.
Beaches
Stopped by a couple beaches to walk around and take in the views and see all the crabs and the helmet (or shingle) urchins that were everywhere.
Made it to the running store and got some Goodr’s to help protect my baby eyes (from Lasik pre-cruise). Got some for Nate and Mom too, as they had some Hawaii exclusive, special edition ones as well.
Markets and Worship
As we walked around it was nice, cause it was Sunday, so we sat by and heard some Sunday Worship services and also walked through some farmers markets (and had some awesome mango), and then the local stores all came out to create a street market which we walked through to get back to the ship.
Food
Back to the ship after the tender, we got back and then headed to dinner. Got a great french onion soup again (it’s soooo big).
Entertainment
Sat up at the pool deck to watch Black Panther 2 and edit some photos, and as I got there, I thought I was going crazy, cause it was definitely Black Panther 1 playing. Still awesome, and loved it.
