UWC Day 059 – Cruising Day – Logistics and Pictures

Spent most of the day on logistics for future plans. Caught up on tons of photos from the last couple days as well.

Future Plan Drama Update

Even though we had back to back cruising days, I had to wake up early to go cancel one of my whale watching tours (apparently when I booked months ago, I booked two tours so that I could cancel one, or both, or just go on both tours — one in the morning and one in the evening), but I also was waiting to see how the tendering situation would turn out.

The Shore Excursion desk closes at noon, so I needed to wake up before then. I cut it pretty close, waking up at 11:50 and then rushing down around 11:59am, but I made it :D.

Grabbed a latte and headed to the back of the ship to enjoy some wind and sun and continue my ongoing fight with purchasing Disney tickets.

Stumbled on this post (courtesy of Nate’s research). I ended up trying that app out and low and behold, I finally got it to work after some annoying juggling of reservations and tickets in the Disney app as well. (I swear, that stupid cogsworth was about to drive me up a wall — it looked like Nate taunting me at one point and I wanted to strangle it).

But also, this dim sum making class looks AH-MAZING.

Pictures and Blog

Got the blog updated for a couple of the days and slowly catching up from the 2.5k pics from Costa Rica :D.

Really enjoyed just listening for a bit to the waves every once in awhile and lovely scenes and breeze at the back of the ship. Took a quick break to take in the sunset before bunkering down for more photo editing / reminiscing and netflix listening.

Food

Rack of lamb and tortellini with a shortcake and strawberry ice cream to finish off the day.

Running Update

Knee is still bothering me a little bit from Cusco, but got out and attempted a quick run.
