Took the day to get caught up on photos and the blog. Lovely day cruising the Chilean Fjords, and it was really quite nice out, but apparently windy so they closed the top deck for the time I was out there.
Quiet Spots
Went to the aft of the ship and found a quiet spot behind windjammer to enjoy the views while doing some work. Had a really nice time back and there and as a bonus, even though it was already 2pm, the staff let me order a fruit juice from the juicer.
Just enjoyed the splended views and some peace(ish). One of “the group” walked by and even though there were like 20 tables open, decided they had to walk next to me whistling super loudly in a long sustained whistle. Even after I gave him a glare, he kept on doing it. Was about to just get up and leave, when they finally got the hint and left the area.
Prints
Took some time to print some prints for the door, and create a little flyer for the door so people know they can take them. Turned out….ok I guess. Didn’t want to spend a TON of time on it.
Entertainment
Watched the NFL playoff games in the pub at night. First game was sloppy and slow (so many penalties), and then the second was so back and forth, but I’m so happy at the result (the packers hate runs strong in me).
Food
Was a little extra today (sorry Sangam!), and got a seafood linguini but removed the shrimp and mussels (or tried to….and I goofed and asked for no scallops, when that was really what I wanted) and then added a salmon on top. Delish, and then a cheesecake to top it off….always good.
