Cruising day at sea with holiday festivities and sports!!
Late Start
Woke up and was surprised to find it was already 2 PM. I ended up sleeping almost 12 hours, which is semi crazy. Pretty nice outside from the camera feed, with some clouds and sun as we sailed out and about on the way to Fortaleza.
Big Game
I wandered up to the pub to double check if they were going to play the game. Turned out they were! So I set up shop for the day. Was pretty fun, had about half lions fans and half vikings fans and we could both commiserate at how our teams were trying to lose the game.

What an entertaining game. Neither team really took opportunity of all their chances and Vikings basically are completely decimated by injuries, but I went back and looked and it appears 14 of the 15 games were one possession games so we can’t ever think a game is over until it’s over.
Good fun, and congrats to the Lions and their fans.
Entertainment
Today’s headliner was a band playing British hits and I stopped in for a bit to listen and sing along. Pretty fun.
On the Way to Dinner
Stopped before dinner in the centrum and took a quick lap outside before dinner to catch the sights and found the moon out in full force with a nice reflection over our surface that we were cruising over. Really peaceful and lovely.

Apparently the games were being shown up on the poolside as well…good to know!

The centrum is also gearing up for the evening and getting into the festive spirit.

Food
Dinner was a festive, holiday meal, and the whole waitstaff dressed up with Santa hats and Christmas tree headbands, etc. Look at that fried Brie…the ooze…The Beef Wellington was on point. Desert was good…a little too chocolate for me, but good.

Christmas Caroling!
After dinner, set up shop in the centrum for Christmas Caroling. Was really fun, but also…VERY hot with everyone packed in together. Beautiful though and fun so sing some carols and hymns together. Apologies for the drift…the boat was rocking in more ways than one…

Today I learned…apparently we sing away in a manger to a different tune in the USA than the rest of the world.
Turning in a little early today as there’s an interdenominational Christmas service tomorrow morning at 10AM, so *trying* to wake up for it.
Running Update
Decided for a rest day, so just walked 2 miles instead. Knee has been taped up all day, but still feels a little unstable.
Vibe Check
5 parts joy (no sadness for vikings cause we already knew what this season was when kirko went down)
