A little over a year ago, I decided to take the plunge and go on one of my bucket list items…to go on a world cruise. Ever since the very first time I rode Soarin Around The World at EPCOT in Disney World, I have been wanting to go to Iguazu Falls, and when I googled Cruises to Iguazu Falls, the Ultimate World Cruise came up.
After some internal debating, I decided it was time for some change and some transition. I had been working about 80 hours a week for the last 4ish years, and no longer needed to. I’ll post more about the decision process on a later date, but for now, I’ll start with some of the most frequently asked questions, and

Are you going by yourself?
Well, technically there’s like 700 other full world cruisers that will become my best friends, but yes, I’m going by myself. Solo traveling has been awesome the last couple years, but I originally wanted to go with my mom, but she wasn’t sure about committing to the whole cruise.
She and my brother are coming out for one quarter of the cruise though (the Asia segment), so I’ll see them in February!
What are you most excited to see?
Hands down, the two things I’m most excited for are Iguazu Falls and sailing through Antarctica.
Are you going to continue running?
Unfortunately, I do plan on running. I irrationally enjoy running on water on the cruise boat and watching the gps maps after. I plan to keep up my streak of running Dopey virtually from the boat, and even contemplated (or am contemplating) getting off the boat to run a half marathon through the Hobbiton set in New Zealand, in the Swiss Alps and on one of the islands in Greece.
Are you going to do work from the boat?
While I’ve definitely worked from cruise boats and around the world wherever I have wifi, I don’t want to have to deal with figuring out taxes and logistics like timezones. I also really want to be as present as possible while on the cruise.
